10 creative, inspiring women blogs

    1. Fiona Lynne:
When I met Fiona she admitted that she had been stalking me (i.e. reading my blog) for a while and was inspired by me. We met for lunch at Happ and had a great conversation that made me happy and also want to jump right into new projects. She writes lovely posts about expat life in Luxembourg. Oh and she can plan your wedding or event!
  • Maria Popova (Brain Pickings):
Maria is an interestingness hunter-gatherer and curious mind at large. I love what she finds. It’s full of nice pictures, good reads, quotes and extraordinary things. Above all, it is very creative and it is my daily dose of serendipity shaping as it gets me exposed to multiple surfaces.

  • Rion Nakaya (The Kid Should See This):
Rion, like me, has a 4 year old son. And they collect kid-friendly not-made-for-kids videos. Need I say that my four and 6 year olds love them? And that I have learned a thing or two about the Universe?

  • Marelisa Fabrega (Daring To Live Fully):
I have been reading Marelisa’s blog for yours. It used to be called Abundance blog. Abundance was a new concept to me at the time which I only understood after a few years of coaching. Marelisa is a lawyer and entrepeneur who has written a few excellent e-books.  Like me, she loves lists, ticking things off your bucket list (and adding some onto it) and creativity. And that’s why I love her blog!

  • Christine Kane:
This is where it all started. Reading this creative singer-songwriter, coach and entrepreneur’s blog got me to follow her coaching program, visit her retreat and learn a few lessons in life. And after so many years, I am still a fan. Because despite her huge success, she has remained that normal girl and she talks in a language I understand.

  • Ree Drummond (The Pioneer Woman):
Although I do not read her blog daily, I go there on a regular basis. This woman has it all: great, funny stories, succulent recipes, astounding photos, a cowboy husband and 4 beautiful children. She is what I call ‘huge but normal’. And you gotta love that. I am jealous of her. Because I don’t know how she does it all :-)

  • Keri Smith:
Keri wrote the book I wish I’d written. Or ‘designed’ is more like it.  I have bought a few and given them to friends. I have a few at home but admit never having wrecked one. I just find them too beautiful to destroy :-)
She is also part of the Society of Exploratory Research and I love her installation at Urban Play. She is my modern time Shero!

  • Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swiss Miss).
The Swiss designer’s blog started as her own personal visual archive. This was before Pinterest and the likes. And it is a visual, creative delight. It’s about design the way I like (and understand) it. Another daily dose of creativity.

  • Melody Ross (Brave Girls Club)
I’m all about being a brave girl. And Melody gets that. She does her thing. She is creative. She has lovely online classes but above all she organises Brave Girl Camp. It’s on my bucket list to attend one!

  • Flora Bowley:
She is an amazing artist and I fell in love with her paintings. I just followed her e-course on intuitive painting and it changed the way I look at a canvas. So If you want to start painting or need some new inspiration, Flora’s your girl!
